The Rivet Rack shelving tie plate is designed to stabilize side-by-side or back-to-back Rivet Rack sections while maintaining uniform spacing between rows. Compatible with both angle post uprights and T-post uprights, the tie plate is made from heavy-duty steel and features a dove gray powder coat finish for durability and to match Lyon medium-duty racks. Installation requires no tools or hardware, utilizing two sets of double rivets that slide into the slots on the shelving uprights. It is recommended to use a minimum of two row ties for each pair of boltless metal rack uprights, with an optional third row tie for taller commercial storage racks to enhance stability. For safety, Lyon advises anchoring leveled metal storage racks to the floor or wall.
