Lyon's® Rivet Rack Shelving Starter is an economical boltless medium-duty racking system designed for retail or commercial use such as offices, offering access to items from all sides with a durable powder coat finish in dove gray. The kit includes four 7-foot angle uprights made of 14-gauge steel with keyhole slots on all four corners of a single freestanding rack, used to hold the rivet rack beams in place. For extended rows, angle posts are placed on the outermost corners. The beams, also 14-gauge medium-duty steel, feature a double rivet design that provides a rigid assembly and added strength, sliding into the uprights’ keyhole slots without tools. Each storage level includes two width beams and two depth beams, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch centers. The sections ship unassembled and assemble easily without tools, allowing the starter unit to be used alone or combined with add-on sections to create long runs of commercial storage racks. Proper anchoring is strongly recommended, using shelving foot plates and wedge anchors to secure racks installed plumb and level to the floor or wall.
