Lyon's® rivet rack shelving starter is a medium-duty, boltless racking system designed for various commercial storage needs, including retail and office use. The kit includes four 7-foot angle posts made from 14-gauge steel with keyhole slots to hold beams in place, and 14-gauge double rivet beams that create a rigid and strong assembly. Each shelving level consists of two width beams coupled with two depth beams, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch centers without requiring tools, allowing easy customization of shelf spacing. The boltless metal rack provides access from all sides and features a durable dove gray powder coat finish. The starter section ships unassembled and can be used alone or combined with add-on units for longer runs, with angle posts placed on outer corners when connecting multiple units. For safety and stability, Lyon® recommends properly anchoring all racks using foot plates and wedge anchors, ensuring that the racks are installed plumb and level before anchoring.
