The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments, and 5/8" thick precut particleboard wood decking. The open shelves offer four-side access and adjustability at 1" increments without requiring bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling easy assembly with snap-in components. The shelving features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint and eliminating back and side sway. The unit is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating, and dimensions vary by available heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area.
