The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The unit features durable roll-formed steel framing with chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, creating a structurally secure joint that prevents back and side sway. The open shelves are adjustable vertically at 1" increments, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard provides a cost-effective solid decking. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and the design allows four-sided access for maximum flexibility. Expansion is simple by joining units for added stability with less construction than bolting two starter units together.
