The Atomic™ 20V MAX right angle die grinder (battery and charger sold separately) is designed for high-powered applications in tight spaces, delivering up to 455 MWO and optimized maneuverability. It features the DEWALT® anti-rotation system that quickly stops the wheel during pinch, stall, or bind-up events to reduce reactionary torque, enhancing control. Its compact design allows access to hard-to-reach areas with an equal gripping diameter to low voltage cordless die grinders, while providing up to 53% more power than the Milwaukee M12 die grinder to maximize productivity. The variable speed trigger adjusts speed up to 24,500 RPM (no-load) to match the application, and the spindle lock enables easy wheel changes without multiple wrenches. The brushless motor supports demanding applications, and the paddle switch mimics pneumatic tool performance with a lock-off paddle and no-lock on feature. The forward exhaust system directs air away from the user and helps prevent motor overheating. A bright, onboard LED illuminates the work surface for high visibility. This tool is Tool Connect™ chip ready, allowing pairing with the DEWALT® Tool Connect™ app (chip sold separately) for jobsite asset management and tool location.
