The ATOMIC™ 20V Max 4 in. angle grinder (battery and charger sold separately) is designed for high-powered applications in tight spaces, delivering optimized maneuverability and 755 MWO. It features the DEWALT® anti-rotation system which quickly stops the wheel when a pinch, stall, or bind-up event is sensed, reducing reactionary torque for enhanced control. The ergonomic design is 13% lighter than competitive pneumatic angle grinders to provide access to ultra-tight spaces without sacrificing power. The clip-on guard allows fast conversion from a Type B guard to a Type A guard, while the spindle lock enables quick wheel changes without multiple wrenches. This brushless motor tool offers 12,500 no-load RPM and up to 44% more power than 0.7 hp rated pneumatic angle grinders, supporting demanding applications. The paddle switch includes a lock-off feature with no lock-on for safety and performance, and a forward exhaust system directs air away from the user to help prevent motor overheating. The reversible flange accommodates Ø3/8 and Ø5/8 arbor size non-hubbed accessories. Additionally, it is Tool Connect™ chip ready, allowing pairing with the Tool Connect™ chip and app for jobsite asset management and tool location. The package excludes battery and charger.
