The Atomic™ 20V Max 4 in. angle grinder with lanyard ready™ attachment point (battery and charger sold separately) is designed for high-powered applications in tight spaces and features the DEWALT® anti-rotation system to maximize control by quickly stopping the wheel during pinch, stall, or bind-up events, reducing reactionary torque. It has an ergonomic design that is 13% lighter than a competitive pneumatic angle grinder, allowing access to ultra-tight spaces without sacrificing power. The clip-on guard enables fast conversion from a Type B to a Type A guard, while the spindle lock allows easy wheel changes without multiple wrenches. This brushless motor tool delivers 755 MWO and 12,500 no-load RPM for demanding applications, and the paddle switch includes lock-off and no-lock-on features, replicating the power performance of 0.7 HP pneumatic angle grinders. The forward exhaust system directs air away from the user to help prevent motor overheating, and the reversible flange supports Ø3/8 and Ø5/8 arbor size non-hubbed accessories. The lanyard ready™ feature allows tethering to rigid structures for safety when working at height.
