The 4B horizontal mailboxes are U.S.P.S. approved for replacement and retrofit installations and are manufactured by Salsbury Industries to USPS-STD-4B specifications. These mailboxes are ideal for apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings, and residential developments and are made entirely of aluminum. Each door includes a 5 pin cylinder cam lock with two keys, and one mailbox opening is required for a master postal lock, which is installed by the U.S.P.S. and cannot be used for mail distribution. The front loading door panel swings on a continuous hinge and the mailboxes include factory installed trim measuring 3/4" W x 1/4" D as well as a solid rear cover.
