The SC Preferred™ Extra Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving additional shelf with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1200 lbs. per level. It is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial applications, featuring durable and adaptable storage with an open design that allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The shelving unit is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing, providing maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. It includes a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open wire decking also permits sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and reducing insurance premiums.
