The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features adjustable open shelves at 1" increments and is suitable for retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and sprinkler water flow, enhancing fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, allowing easy setup and expansion with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
