The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, allowing customization to fit various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The shelving features a durable roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints and eliminating back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, and permits sprinkler water to pass through easily, improving fire safety. The gray baked enamel finish is chip resistant, and the unit is easy to assemble with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling easy expansion by joining units with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
