The SC Preferred™ 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, while front-to-back supports prevent beams from rotating when fully loaded. Double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking allows for ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while sprinkler water passes easily throughout the racks, improving fire safety. The open design provides four-side access for maximum flexibility, and the snap-in assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, enabling easy set-up and expansion with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
