The SC Preferred™ 5 Shelf Extra HD Boltless Shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage with a maximum weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable, roll-formed steel framing with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. Open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, providing ventilation, visibility, and light penetration through the wire decking. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched at 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. This design allows sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks efficiently, enhancing fire safety. The shelving system's various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area, and units can be joined with more stability and less construction than bolting two starter units together.
