The SC Preferred™ 5 shelf extra heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on with wire shelving is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable, adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving is easy to assemble without bolts, nuts, or clips, using snap-in components for quick setup. Various heights, widths, and depths accommodate nearly every facility area, and the open design allows four side access for maximum flexibility. Sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints and eliminate back and side sway. Each add-on unit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish adds durability, while the wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The design also permits sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks easily, improving fire safety.
