The SC Preferred 4 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The shelves are open and adjustable at 1" increments, allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments. The wire decking, which ships in two pieces, allows ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and easy sprinkler water passage, enhancing fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips. The steel framing is roll-formed for maximum support, with front-to-back supports preventing beam rotation when fully loaded. The finish is chip resistant gray baked enamel.
