The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, and the kit includes snap-in components for easy assembly without the need for bolts, nuts, or clips. The sturdy roll-formed steel framing provides maximum support, with double rivet button stud construction locking perimeter beams into corner posts to form a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability. Wire decking offers ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, which allows sprinkler water to pass throughout racks easily, improving fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums.
