The SC Preferred 4 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, providing flexibility and adaptability, and the shelving system allows four side access. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers, double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts with double rivet button stud construction to eliminate back and side sway, as well as wire decking that allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while enabling sprinkler water to pass through for improved fire safety. Assembly is easy and requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The shelving is finished with a chip-resistant gray baked enamel coating.
