The SC Preferred™ 2 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable in 1" increments, with rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. The open design allows four-sided access and the wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily to improve fire safety. Assembly is easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The particle board ships in two pieces.
