The SC Preferred 5 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage area in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments to provide adaptability, and the open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock securely into corner posts using double rivet button stud construction, eliminating back and side sway. The wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass easily for enhanced fire safety. The entire shelving unit features a chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish and offers easy assembly with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
