The SC Preferred 3 Shelf Heavy Duty Boltless Shelving Starter with Wire Decking is designed to maximize storage space in retail, commercial, and industrial environments with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 GA steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double-riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically at 1" increments to allow customizable shelf height. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and feature wire decking that promotes ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and enables sprinkler water to pass through easily for enhanced fire safety. The shelving unit uses sturdy roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction to lock perimeter beams into corner posts, forming a structurally secure joint that eliminates back and side sway. Assembly is quick and easy with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips.
