The SC Preferred™ 3 shelf heavy-duty boltless shelving add-on with wire decking is designed to maximize storage in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces with a max storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments and an open design allowing four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit includes rugged 14 gauge steel T posts punched on 1" centers, double-riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts through double rivet button stud construction, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The screwless, boltless snap-in assembly requires no nuts, bolts, or clips for easy setup and expansion. The wire decking promotes ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety and potentially lowering insurance premiums. The rack is finished in chip-resistant gray baked enamel, and the particle board ships in two pieces.
