The SC Preferred™ 6 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage capacity with a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level, suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. It features durable and adaptable storage with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments. The open design allows four-side access for maximum flexibility, and each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers, along with double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into corner posts to form structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The shelving is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing and front-to-back supports that prevent beam rotation when fully loaded. The wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through easily, enhancing fire safety. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, and the snap-in components allow easy assembly with no bolts, nuts, or clips required.
