The SC Preferred 5 Shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wood decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces. It features a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs per level and includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers along with double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, providing durability and adaptability. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and constructed with sturdy, smooth precut 5/8" thick particleboard for solid decking. The shelving unit is made from roll-formed steel framing with double rivet button stud construction that locks perimeter beams into corner posts for structurally secure joints, eliminating back and side sway. The open design offers four-side access for maximum flexibility. The kit is easy to assemble with snap-in components, requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel, offering durability and a clean appearance for various facility applications.
