The SC Preferred™ 6 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage space with a maximum storage weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments, offering flexibility with various heights, widths, and depths to accommodate nearly every facility area. The unit consists of rugged 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that lock perimeter beams into the corner post with double rivet button stud construction, forming a secure joint to eliminate back and side sway. The shelving provides four side access due to its open design, and front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load. The package includes wire decking which enhances ventilation, visibility, light penetration, and allows sprinkler water to pass through, improving fire safety. Assembly is easy and tool-free with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. The unit is finished with a chip resistant gray baked enamel coating.
