The SC Preferred™ 6 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage with a maximum weight capacity of 1400 lbs. per level. It features durable and adaptable storage suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial spaces, with open shelves that are adjustable at 1" increments. The shelving unit offers easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips. Constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing, it provides maximum support and includes front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation under full load. The double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1" 14 ga steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically in 1" increments. The chip-resistant gray baked enamel finish ensures durability, while wire decking allows ventilation, visibility, and light penetration. The open design provides four-side access and sprinkler water passage throughout racks to improve fire safety and lower insurance premiums.
