The SC Preferred™ 6 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial applications with various heights, widths, and depths available to accommodate nearly every facility space. Each starter unit includes durable 2" x 1" 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams that adjust vertically in 1" increments, supporting a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The open shelves are adjustable at 1" increments and wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration while allowing sprinkler water to pass throughout the racks for improved fire safety. The shelving system features sturdy roll-formed steel framing with front-to-back supports to prevent beam rotation when fully loaded, and double rivet button stud construction secures perimeter beams into corner posts to eliminate back and side sway. The chip resistant gray baked enamel finish enhances durability, and the easy assembly requires no bolts, nuts, or clips, utilizing snap-in components for quick set-up.
