The SC Preferred™ 7 shelf heavy duty boltless shelving starter with wire decking is designed to maximize storage areas in retail, commercial, and industrial spaces, accommodating various heights, widths, and depths. Each starter unit includes rugged 2" x 1", 14 gauge steel uprights punched on 1" centers and double riveted horizontal beams adjustable vertically at 1" increments, with open shelves adjustable at 1" increments as well. The shelving supports a maximum storage weight of 1400 lbs. per level. The kit features easy assembly with snap-in components requiring no bolts, nuts, or clips, and is constructed with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support. Front-to-back supports prevent beam rotation under full load, while double rivet button stud construction locks perimeter beams into corner posts, forming structurally secure joints that eliminate back and side sway. The wire decking provides ventilation, visibility, and light penetration, allowing sprinkler water to pass through racks easily, enhancing fire safety. The finish is a chip-resistant gray baked enamel. The shelving is suitable for retail, industrial, and commercial applications, designed for easy access from all four sides.
