The new Explorer™ EXP series balance offers premium weighing performance with a range of advanced features designed to optimize the user experience and meet demanding scientific research requirements. It supports a wide array of applications including basic weighing, parts counting, check counting, percent weighing, check weighing, dynamic weighing, totalization, formulation, differential, density determination, peak hold, pipette adjustment, statistical quality control (SQC), fill weight variation, and flow rate control. The balance features a 7-inch TFT 16.7M color touch screen with glass overlay, operates on an AC adapter input voltage of 100-240 VAC 0.5A at 50-60 Hz and provides an output of 12 VDC 1.5A. Communication ports include two USB host Type A, one USB device Type B, one USB device Type C, Ethernet (RJ45), and RS232, with optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle capabilities. Its modular construction includes a metal base and housing, SST 316 stainless steel weighing pan, enhanced automatic doors with anti-pinch safety protection, an anti-static glass draftshield, motorized leveling, a built-in ionizer, two touchless sensors, a sample spotlight, and status lights. Design features include time synchronization via NTP, support for HID connection to a computer without drivers, a four-level user management system, and an internal system log capacity of 100,000 entries along with 3000 application sample libraries.
