The Defender™ 6000 Series Extreme Washdown Bench Scale is engineered for food, chemical, and pharmaceutical applications, including production and packaging processes. The scale features a 316 stainless steel platform and frame with a hermetically-sealed stainless steel IP69K load cell, ensuring durability in demanding environments. It supports applications such as weighing, counting with APW optimization, percent weighing, checkweighing, checkcounting, filling, dynamic weighing, and display hold. The display is a 6-digit, 7-segment white LED with 20 mm high digits. Operation utilizes a 100-240 VAC / 50/60 Hz universal hardwired power supply. Communication options include easy access ports with RS232 and USB host included, additional RS232/RS485/USB device ports, Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, discrete I/O, and analog output (with some accessories sold separately), along with GLP/GMP data output featuring a real-time clock. The construction comprises a 316 stainless steel platform and frame, a hermetically-sealed stainless steel load cell, an IP68/IP69K rated 316 stainless steel housing indicator and mounting bracket, and a knife-resistant front panel. Design features encompass 150% overload capacity protection, a bar matrix check light, customizable print templates, menu and key lock functions, selectable environmental and auto-print settings, stability and overload/underload indicators, auto shut-off, auto tare, and adjustable non-slip rubber feet. The scale is NTEP certified and Measurement Canada approved.
