The OHAUS® Next Generation Defender™ 5000 series multifunctional washdown bench scale is designed for various industrial and commercial applications such as production, packaging, inventory, and shipping. It features weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, check weighing, and dynamic weighing with display hold. The scale includes a backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) with a resolution of 256 x 80 pixels, and operates with an internal power supply and power cord included, while a rechargeable battery is available separately as an accessory. Communication ports include RS232 and a micro SD slot, both included, with additional options for a second RS232/RS485/USB device, Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, discrete I/O, and analog output available as accessories. The scale provides GLP/GMP data output with a real-time clock for compliance. Constructed with a 304-grade stainless steel platform and frame, an IP68 stainless steel indicator, an IP67 stainless steel load cell for single range models, or an aluminum load cell for dual range models, it also features non-slip adjustable rubber feet. Design attributes include resolution up to dual range 3,000e, 150% overload capacity, checkweighing display and beep, a menu lock switch, selectable display languages and filters, stability and overload/underload indicators, selectable display controls, and auto print and tare functions. This scale is NTEP certified and Measurement Canada approved.
