The Defender™ 3000 washdown bench scales are designed for general weighing, simple counting, and checkweighing applications in damp environments or where washdown cleaning is necessary. The kit includes a rugged 304-grade stainless steel platform and frame, an IP66 stainless steel indicator with tactile keys, and a 7-segment multicolor backlit LCD display. Operation is supported by either an included power supply with power cord or a rechargeable battery, also included. The scales feature standard RS232 communication with optional USB device or Ethernet connectivity. The design includes an IP67 load cell, non-slip adjustable rubber feet, and offers 150% overload protection. The product is NTEP certified and Measurement Canada approved.
