The new Explorer™ EXP series offers premium weighing performance, compliance support, and data traceability, designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern scientific research. It supports applications such as basic weighing, parts counting, check counting, percent weighing, check weighing, dynamic weighing, totalization, formulation, differential, density determination, peak hold, SQC, fill weight variation, and flow rate control. The balance features a 7-inch TFT 16.7M color touch screen with glass overlay for intuitive operation. It operates on an AC input of 100-240 VAC, 0.5A, 50-60 Hz and includes communication options such as USB Host (Type A) x 2, USB Device (Type C) x 1, Ethernet (RJ45) x 1, RS232 x 1, with optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth dongle availability. The modular design includes an Explorer™ Plus™ high capacity EXP model, an IP54 rated metal base and housing, SST 304 weighing pan, integral weigh below hook, three ambient sensors, two touchless sensors, and a terminal status light. Design features include time synchronization via NTP, support for HID connection to a computer without drivers, four-level user management, and an internal system log capacity of 100,000 entries with 3000 application sample libraries. Calibration is handled automatically using Autocal™ technology. The package includes the balance with its construction and calibration features, supporting precise and reliable weighing tasks.
