The UCRD Series 29" Depth Versatile, Compact models are designed for under-counter refrigerated storage of food products, featuring a working height of 34 1/2". The cabinet construction is heavy-duty, with an exterior made of stainless steel on the front, sides, door(s), and grille, while the cabinet back and bottom are constructed from galvanized steel. The interior liner is crafted from corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum, and a standard interior thermometer is included. Doors in models with both doors and drawers are mounted on cartridge-style hinges that allow for self-closing under their own weight, can remain open at a 120° angle, and facilitate easy removal for service and cleaning. Each door is equipped with a plug-in type vinyl magnetic gasket for a positive seal. The cabinet insulation is CFC and HCFC-free, utilizing foamed-in-place polyurethane with a minimum thickness of two inches. Standard features include 6" high casters, two of which are equipped with brakes. The drawer construction consists of heavy-duty stainless steel frames supported by heavy-duty telescoping drawer slides, which feature a locking mechanism to prevent drawers from being pulled off the cabinets. The upper pull-out drawers are capable of accommodating 6" deep pans, while the lower pull-out drawers are designed for two 4" deep pans, with heavy-duty pan divider supports supplied (foodservice pans are not included). A snap-type vinyl magnetic gasket is attached to each drawer for a positive seal, and the drawers extend 23" when opened. The refrigeration system uses R134A refrigerant, managed by a capillary tube system, and includes a non-electric automatic condensate evaporator. An interior forced-air system with high humidity evaporator coils creates the ideal environment for food preservation. Electrical units are pre-wired at the factory for connection to a 115/60/1 phase, 15 amp dedicated outlet, with an included 8' long cord and plug set.
