The UCRD Series offers 32" depth versatile, compact models designed for under-counter refrigerated storage of food products, featuring a working height of 34 1/2". The cabinet construction includes heavy-duty exterior stainless steel on the front, sides, door(s), and grille, while the cabinet back and bottom are made of galvanized steel. The interior liner is crafted from corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum, and an interior thermometer is included as standard. Cabinets with doors and drawers are equipped with cartridge-style hinges that allow the doors to self-close under their own weight, stay open at an angle of 120°, and facilitate easy removal for service and cleaning. Each door is sealed with a plug-in type vinyl magnetic gasket. The insulation is CFC and HCFC-free, made of foamed-in-place polyurethane with a minimum thickness of two inches. It features 6" high casters, with two casters including brakes. The drawer construction consists of heavy-duty stainless steel frames supported by heavy-duty telescoping drawer slides that allow for maximum support of stored food products, equipped with a locking mechanism to prevent drawers from being pulled off the cabinets. The upper pull-out drawers accommodate 6" deep pans, while the lower pull-out drawers accommodate two 4" deep pans, with heavy-duty pan divider supports supplied; however, foodservice pans for drawers are not included. Each drawer is also fitted with a snap-type vinyl magnetic gasket for a positive seal and extends 23" when opened. The refrigeration system utilizes R134A refrigerant and is governed by a capillary tube system. An automatic (non-electric) condensate evaporator is included, along with an interior forced-air system with high humidity evaporator coils that provide the ideal environment for food preservation. The electrical units come pre-wired at the factory, ready for connection to a 115/60/1 phase, 15 amp dedicated outlet, accompanied by an 8' long cord and plug set.
