The cabinet features heavy-duty construction with a stainless steel front, including doors and grilles, as well as stainless steel exterior sides, top, back, and bottom. It is equipped with an interior thermometer and an interior fluorescent light. Standard features include two shelves per door section and foamed-in-place CFC and HCFC-free polyurethane insulation, enhancing the cabinet's structural strength and energy efficiency. The RI18 models are designed with one half-size glass door and one half-size solid door, while the RID18 pass-thru models include one half-size glass door and one half-size solid door on each side. The doors are attached to the cabinet with cam-lift hinges that allow them to stay open at 120 degrees and self-close due to gravity. Each door is fitted with a plug-in type vinyl magnetic gasket. Additionally, the cabinet is mounted on three-inch heavy-duty casters, with two featuring brakes for stability. The balanced refrigeration system is located at the bottom of the cabinet and utilizes refrigerant that is CFC and HCFC-free.
