Water-resistant canvas tarpaulins are designed to protect or conceal equipment or supplies while preventing condensation. These tarpaulins are made from durable, water-resistant, and breathable material, featuring double-stitched seams and hems for added strength. Brass tie-down grommets are spaced approximately 24 inches apart around the perimeter for secure fastening. Custom sizes can be requested to meet specific needs. However, it is important to note that these canvas tarps are not suitable for use as car or boat covers due to potential wax and dye transfer that may stain exteriors. They are also not intended for over-the-road trailer tarps or truck covers; vinyl tarps, such as 18 oz vinyl tarps, are recommended in those cases. Additionally, canvas tarps are not suitable for indoor use or as hanging dividers, sidewalls, tops, or roofs for tents, canopies, or building structures. For applications like patio roofs, sidewalls, or canopy replacements, high tear strength vinyl tarps should be considered. Be aware that pre-finished size tarpaulins may finish 3-5% smaller than specified, and it is necessary to indicate on the purchase order if a specific finished size is required.
