The Nerm Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with the latest technology and include a motorized trolley, delivering high quality and low headroom in full-featured hoists and trolleys that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
