The NERM Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian," which is a smart brake technology featuring a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes an integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, along with a fan-cooled motor that contributes to a cooler motor and brake. Low profile upper and lower limit switches, plug-in pendant, and power supply cords enhance usability. Both hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly with RoHS compliance, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear.
