The NERM Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist that enables exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that provides speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoist design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, along with a cooler motor and brake due to its fan-cooled design. Additionally, the unit features low-profile upper and lower limit switches, a plug-in pendant, and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting ROHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that contribute to smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
