The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control along with field adjustable two speeds, achieving a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive facilitates speed adjustability and includes integral hour count functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additionally, the hoist is equipped with a 5 pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is delivered with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
