The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, the hoists are equipped with a fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists comply with UL 1340, meet RoHS requirements for environmentally friendly standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate that verifies factory load testing at 125% of the rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
