The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology to deliver high quality, low headroom, full-featured performance suitable for both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian," which is a smart brake technology utilizing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, Grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. Additionally, the hoists feature a 5 pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
