The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and a motorized trolley, providing high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, and a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler operation alongside low-profile upper and lower limit switches. Additional features include plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother motion and reduced beam wear.
