The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain. The hoists are equipped with a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements, and exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of rated capacity in compliance with ASME B30.16.
