The NERP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features encompass "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which is a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, along with grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5 pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life. The cooler motor and brake are attributed to the fan-cooled motor, and the hoists feature low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
