The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable daily performance in various working environments. The hoist attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a five-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life; and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor. Additional specifications include low-profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty ratings. Trolley features comprise an exceptionally durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Every hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
