The NerP series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, ensuring high quality and low headroom for reliable performance in both routine and severe environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized. The hoists are equipped with a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that tracks lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life. The fan-cooled motor contributes to a cooler operation of the motor and brake, while low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords, enhance usability. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly in accordance with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
