The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology and includes a motorized trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key attributes of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized; a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life; a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler motor and brake operation; low-profile upper and lower limit switches; and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty ratings. The trolley includes a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers for smoother motion and reduced beam wear. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
