The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are designed with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time, and a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, these hoists feature a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. All hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, manufactured to be environmentally friendly in compliance with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
